Ken was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2000 and practices in all aspects of Municipal, Expropriations, and Land Use Planning Law. He acts for municipalities, developers, and individuals. He gives opinions and advice, negotiates and drafts agreements, appears in Court and before various Administrative Tribunals.

In his spare time, he teaches Municipal Law at Western University, serves on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Expropriation Association, and drives his children to various soccer fields in Ontario.

Kelly has been practicing municipal law since she was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. She joined Ken as an associate in 2016 and became a partner in 2019. Kelly handles trials, appeals and other hearings at all levels of court in the areas of municipal law, land use planning, and expropriations. She also advises clients on the full range of municipal issues and has significant experience in code and by-law enforcement.

Before being called to the bar, Kelly graduated with Honours from McGill University, then went on to earn a J.D. from Queen’s University, where she was a member of the Dean’s Honour List.

Kelly sits on the Board of Trustees for the Middlesex Law Association and is a member of the Ontario Expropriations Association. She teaches municipal law at the University of Western Ontario’s Local Government Program. She is an enthusiastic, although not gifted, squash player.
